Delete Siri history on iPhone, iPad and Mac
Don't want Apple to keep a record of your conversations with Siri? A new option allows you to delete your conversation history.
In July 2019, Apple was strongly criticised for allowing partners to access recordings picked up by Siri. Apple has since stated that it will no longer keep audio recordings by default and that only Apple employees will be able to listen to them.
The good news is that included in the latest updates is now the option to delete your Siri recording history. However you must have the latest versions of their operating systems to make use of this. This guide will quickly explain how you can clear your Siri conversation history.
First things first, you need to update your operating system to the latest version. The option to remove Siri history is only available on iOS13.2, iPadOS 13.2, watchOS 6.1, tvOS 13.2 and macOS Catalina 10.15.1 systems.
To save time, go directly to the software updates section of your device. If nothing is displayed, you are up to date. In the opposite case, you can update your device.
