How To Find Your iTunes Backup Folder
When you upload or download files onto iTunes, the app automatically creates backup media files, which can be helpful in the event that data is lost or deleted by accident. Over time, these files can become very heavy and drain the memory capacity of your computer. The actual location of the backup folder varies by operating system, and this tutorial will show you how to locate your iTunes backup folder macOS or Windows computer.
Locate the iTunes Backup Files
iTunes Backup Folder on Mac OS Catalina 10.15 and later
To locate a list of your backups:
Click the magnifying glass icon on the top right of the screen and paste or copy this into the text box then click return:
~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
To locate specific backups:
On a Mac with OS Catalina 10.15 or later, open the Finder .
. In the Finder under the General tab, click on Manage Backups. Right click on the backup you want (in this case iTunes) and select Show In Finder . From here, you can also Delete or Archive the file.

You simply have to click on a backup to see more information about it and to decide what to delete and what to backup.
iTunes Backup Folder on Older Versions of Mac
Mac users can find their backups by clicking their menu bar and entering ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/ .
