Should Novices Buy SLRS
I believe there is a question for the novice of photography. Do I need to buy an SLR camera?
Before we answer this question, we must notice a practical problem. SLR cameras require certain technical expertise to function. SLR camera is a photographic equipment. It is just a part of photography, but not all. The whole process of photography involves more than just pressing the shutter. SLR can only "collect as much information as possible in the focal plane." SLRS solve nothing in nature other than "picture quality". SLR cameras without a good lens and manipulation is terrible. It can't even solve quality problems.
Photography is an art. Quality is important. Yet light, color, composition and subject are important. SLRS have an inescapable inherent property. It is trouble. Maybe it is inconvenience to carry caused by the volume. Maybe it misses opportunity caused by the unskilled operation. It may have maintenance problem caused by the property of "precision instrument". Is it really necessary to sacrifice so much for so-called "picture quality enhancement"? Beginners need to learn the right attitude. They shouldn't rush to buy expensive equipment.
Many people only consider the technical and hardware level to buy A SLR. It is easy to ignore the comparative analysis. Such as energy and time use cost. SLRS are indeed more professional. This is not only a hardware specialty. It is a user's specialty. Users need to learn operational knowledge and professional skills. Users need to invest a lot of practice time and learning energy. Sometimes professional hardware meets unprofessional people. It becomes a toy worse than a card machine. Users need to invest a lot of time every month. Learn professional knowledge and use it frequently. Only in this way can we play the professional SLR. Maybe you only use it in your spare time. Don't invest in it for a long time. An SLR camera is just a decoration. Cameras with interchangeable lenses, such as SLRS, do not usually stand on their own. It requires a series of accessories to form a photographic system. Different photography systems, different quality of work. For starters, you can buy a normal zoom lens with a smaller aperture. But the work it produces is almost indistinguishable from that produced by a mobile phone. The user needs to be prepared to buy at least one lens with large light and fixed focus for the camera. Also consider the hassle of changing lenses.
Essentially, photography is about discovering and recording beautiful moments around you. As long as you don't forget the original intention to enter the field of photography, there is no better or worse equipment. Whether to buy an SLR or not depends on the user's purpose and patience. Therefore, it is suggested that beginners learn photography expertise first, and then consider buying A SLR camera.
